Early fighting and 70YBCW- the verianberg first army advanced down the valley of the sultanate into setercha pushing, assisted the in this by frontier forces in several small engagements, as the raven prince advnaced on the major frontier fotress of
Kersia . the frontier villages at the valleys mouth were set on fire and the garrison hung from trees. what was left of these forces gathered themselves and marched south and the forward units alerted the regional commander. the impieral garrsion unit in setercha was ion pasha's 5th army corp. Ion's corp recrutred from seterchans as well as men from the rest of the empire responded to the invasion countered it at the mouth of the valley. he was going to give battle but when his scouts told him the size of the invasion force he retreated and using his magic corp he was able to cause avalanches to block part of the valley and then retreated.
the first invasion had be halted.
Ion pasha then sent word prince
ivan 2nd and he sent to
Mohammabad of the invasion. when the young sultan found out what was happening he viewed the situation with Icey calm and immediately enacted
the taking conscripting young men and forcing prisoners into
the scimitari. he gathered a war council and placed the entire county under the control of him and the army. the musir (field marshal) huseyin abdula callan pasha was removed from his post and his role repicled by the younger abdul camil pasha. a new army was ordered raised in hjez and the interior of the empire. the two corp currently around the capital would be shiped across the straits by the navy and join the main armies on the conteinet.
Ivan meanwhile prepared for war in his own way. he gathered his troops and was away to march north to help ion but when the frontier and imperial army crossed the boarder in force he was forced to deal with that threat. the northern most city which had stopped every invasion before fell after 3 weeks of fighting. this forced ivan to march his army to prevent the invasion. the verainberg forces invading the principality were made up of men mostly of
the army of the crown
invasion of Castilian-on the boarder with Castilian goblin wolf rider scout crossed the border and disorganized the Castilian force. on the tail of the gobilns followed the 3rd verainberg imperial army under the command
jan petronvic-hallsberg 1st. this army included men of
Szlski cavalry the sultanate line the lone defensive work on the Boarder was broken in half and twenty thousand Castilian soldiers were captured after the battle on the line. at Mesor 14000 Castilian troops had to fight out of a disaster when they were enveloped in three sides by general gorgons 40000 troops. they were forced to march along the road while under attack to escape being surrounded by imperial verainberg forces. in
Mohammabad the general staff scrambled to stop the invasion. the seterchan army was facing a two way invasion. ivan despite his brilliance in command he was forced to run, after ion corp retreated to safety. the abrian force had to scramble quickly in order to plug the gap. the lostian army was also called in and moved to help the prince of setercha. and the first lostian troops arrived just as ivans army retreated into the southern seterchan heartlands.
invasion from magara- the invasion through magara came at the same time as the invasion of Castilian around 2 weeks after the invasion through the valley of the sultans. genreal Krassenstine's army march through recanik territory and into the recanik pashaliks. the
14th magaran lancers lead the army under prince karlos of
House of Jagiellonian. his unit cut there way through the pashaliks slaughtering the recanik population. they however where able to cobble an army of some 13000 recanik horse men. the imperial troops in the area had already retreated to the last fortress town in the area they numbered some 12000 men. this fortress was two of the things stopping the two invasions linking up.
69YBCW-the situation got worst the following year when the united tsardom army crossed the border and dealt a series of crushing defeats. the 1st imperial army was diverted to stop the invasion. there was however one thing the twin sultanates could draw strength from.
the twin sultanates navy was in charge of the sea defeating the tsars navy and blockading the white sea. this cut supply from reaching the southern ports and prevented trade entering the tsardoms through the sea. in order to keep order near the tsardom boarder
The Pashalik of brigrannea was placed under military occupation and administration and this began a rebellion and many rebels walked to the front to join the tsardoms .a steady stream of invading armies crossed the boarder into the twin sultanates. Unable to stem the tide the sultans armies made a gradual retreat trying to hit there enemy in rearguard battles. this left behind stragglers and garrisons many of which were later captured. the Castilian army was defeated at the
battle of Koch and was forced to retreated to Becelo to defend there capital. in setercha the 1st verainberg army pushed into there territory however the seterchan army lead by there prince
ivan 2nd was able to stop them at the battle of chekovic. 20000 seterchan troops were able to surround the village where the elite 9th corp was station and forced there surrender. there victory prevented the link up of verainberg forces advancing from magara from those invading the principality. the verianberg army's used war beasts and war trolls to help smash apart the sultans armys. after another series of setback the twin sultanates army was able to establish a defence line. they dug trench lines with proper support with rear trenches and communication trenches. they brought up every artillery piece they could to support the trenches. the verainberg commanders were able to crack the first few line in attacks pushing deeper into territory. general Bela of
House of Jagiellonian (Karlos cousin) forces commanding a force of 23000 troops mostly of
The Royal Magaran army pushed deep into territory pushing out of the recanik pashaliks into abrain territoy. his campaign as one of the most successful of the verainberg empire. over a 7 day campaign in mid spring he defeated an army twice his side and forced the remaining troops into defences. they were also the first to be eventually stopped when they reached a position with a city of a pr-existing fortification they were stopped. they had expected the
the twin sultanate imperial army to have competently broken but this prove that they were still ready to fight for there homes. not knowing what else to do the verainberg army dug in. when Charles herd this he was outraged and ordered his army to keep fighting but his staff pursued him not to. soon the war slowed into trench warfare. The sultan bought chemical weapons from the Scrats to use against there enemy.
68YBCW-Becelo was placed under siege. the verainberg army however was suffering guerrilla attacks from
Al shahasy riders. as the city passed into its 5th month of siege it began to starve.
the Castilian colonial army however had landed in the southern of the country under the princes great uncle. The Castilian colonial army was able to lift the siege . this counter attack gained enough steam to drive the invaders north. however when they chased the verainberg army from there capital they found that a frank army was waiting for them marching down the koch-becelo road . The colonial army was the only force which had any strength left in Castilian . They dug in and waited for the Frankish attacks. The Frankish army made there attacks force back parts of the line and seizing several small villages . The colonials were however able to hold the line but they were soon forced back more. There rear line was reinforced by the tattered Castilian army and that stop the franks and verainberg forces. several battles were fought between the retreating Castilian and the advancing franks. one battle which was fought was the battle of Kal'koor which was fought between the
The Royal Frankish Army and the
Al shahasy.
67YBCW-in the Abrian part of the empire however the verainbeg army had after a series of terrible offensives were forced into trench warfare. the sultans general staff were about to make an offensive when a letter arrived from Becelo. prince fredando said that his army couldn't continue the fight and urged the government to sign peace. the sultan and his government pondered. if they could bleed there enemy they could force them out and possible take land. if they carried the war on the possibility the Castilian part of the empire could be lost and this would be disastrous for the sultan.
so 67YBCW the twin sultanates signed a peace treaty gifting land to all there enemy powers.
