Briganaies are not related to the other slavs of the twin sultanates. instead they draw there heritage from the people who traveled east to form the united tsardoms. they however were taken over by the the first sultan they have remained part of the twin sultanate ever since.

unlike the other slavs in The twin sultanates of Castilian and Abria Briganaies are close to the united tsardoms and the people of the steppe. the few that are loyal to the empire are used as light cavalry or even as horse archers and gunners much like the army of the untied tsardom.

Briganaies teen cannot be considered adults till they can ride on horse back for a day with out a saddle. after which they are gifted a curved sword.
