the emperor is at the top of the state under him the lord of mortjzia rules in his stead. during the time of reinhard hallsberg dragutin 1st ruled over some 20 families all of these swore oaths of loyalty to him including lords out with his realm.

in the south and west mortjzia has fortification to defend against possible invasion from both frank and the twin sultanates.
The milos bank was once the strongest bank in the empire but with the families the bank fell. however it was rebuilt and became the main bank within the lorddom's boarders.
History
early history-the land which would become mortjzia was once an elven kingdom. it was then made into the lorddom it is today after The war of Men and the 'Old' races of which was settled by slavs who had traveled with verainburgers pasted there seterchan brothers and settled in an area which is know part of the lands of the crown. the southern nations became a frontier for the region know as the thin slip which was in the sultanate of Castilian. the Petrnovic family which came from seterchan stock was given the title 1st lord of mortijza and the petrnovic became the leaders of mortijza. when the lordship was formed it was cetered one a large dark elf realm, with most of the its population killed and its nobles murdered in the war, the new lord wished to keep the rest of the dark elves and high elves on side so he ordered his knights to marry into the elvish families to link them into the lordships. the lord married his 16 year old son to the most senior dark elf families' daughter.
the lordship became a strong and powerful part of the empire and it became influenced by germinc and verianberguer culture. mounted knights came into the area and most nobles had household knights and children were often made squires. they stayed neutral when the succession crisis after the end of the house of von anerian.
medieval age-it was part of the empire on the Roon ruled by emperor Hugo however they played a minor part compared to the germinc and the duchy of Szlski parts of that rump empire yet devoted 3 time s as many troops as the germinc. coming to the end of the war the petrnovics marched there army north after emperor hugos defeats and then switched sides and were among the first to swear loyalty to Charles 3rd.
18 years war and onward-during the 18 year war the region like most other parts of the empire was striped bear of men and became a massive supporter of duke Michael. after the war mortijza was reluctant to change after being massively striped of resources and a large part of its male population. this hit the nobility hard had the region suffered from plague and famine.
the time of the kingdom-after the invasion of Joachim le Bonaparte 1st his brother Louis married Anka Milos of the ancient house of milos after the battles which expelled the forces of the empire Louis was proclaimed King of the kingdom of mortijza. under his wife anka and her father the region actually recovered under her rule. during the time of her husband return the real was blessed with an heir milan and the rule of Louis was prospers when there was no war. when war came louis army followed him with devotion to the end but after the war of Joachim le Bonaparte ended large amounts of the Frankophile nobility left to go to frank including the house of milos.
