the imperial family of the verianberg empire since 1300YBCW there current head is Emperor Charles 5th with prince hugo, archduke Fredrick, and the further emperor Karl 1st and emperor otto are also members. they are an ancient wession house and have the blood of the wessian kingdom. there intermarriage between cousin keeps the blood pure. there sigil was when they where archdukes a black eagle on a red field. but when they became emperors they took the triple colored flag of red hite and green but took a golden eagle wings spread with a crown rounds its neck.

Structure

the emperor if the head of the family and hold direct control over all of its assets but due to the current emperors ill health the assets had been placed under family control but after the events of the the kaff hallberg war they were placed under the control of the bastard Micheal kaff

Culture

the hallsberg family have kept there wession culture but also have adopted the verainberg culture of there people. this culture so gives them one of there own titles. every son save the eldest son is called a 'prisaran'. with is a title born during the orignoal families migration from the destroyed Kingdom of wessia to the silver kingdom meaning nobles son. unoffically ever hallsberg son is given this title before they either become emperor and ever hallsberg man has the title. the family all speak wession howver most men take verainbergur names.

Assets

the great family library-in olgenberg there is a massive family library with books from the old wessia. this is how they have been able to keep there wession language and faith. the hallsberg family castle was built when the hallsbergs first settled in the area where olgenberg is today. however it was a alien castle unlike the elven and other human castles. it was made of black stone and it was looming in among the trees. statues of Wyrms stand at the greats and it towards and walls are ridged. the center of the castle is a massive drum tower of black stone with massive living quarters . along the walls there are carvings of wyrns and great warriors of old wession. wession ruins are also carved on columns or above the black iron gates. it is by no means a palace it is a fortress.

History

origins-the house of hallsberg has it origins in the wession people of the silver kingdom .the haysyrax as they were know had traveled from wessia and had made a home for themselves in the silver kingdom in the service of the silver king. many haysyrax women were loved by the silver king who took them for his concubines. as the great migration began the entire haysysrax family traveled north and joined the verainbugeurs and began to integrate into there society. the wession people that travelled north with tha haysyrax know looked to them for guidence and leadership. It is believed they changed there name some time before they entered the northern continent. They adopted many verainberg tribe customs and even the language however they still kept their old religion and language. However even when they entered the northern continent they had already assimilated calling themselves hallsbergs instead of there native haysyrax. becoming a power- the hallsbergs and the people who followed them, believing they were some kind of gods with there beautiful faces and amazing hair and transfixing eyes and there ability for there children to retain there fathers futures even if the mother had a different eye of hair color settled in the lands on the bank of the river of star light as The river of kings was know then. they started to build a wession inspired fortress castle made of black stone called Hegorhoven after the leader of the family who came up with the idea Hegor the homemaker (at this point the family kept wession first names) they got help from the closes elven monarch a queen with a small kingdom. It was originally called the county of selina after the elven queen who helped them form but the hallsberg count hegor 2nd (son of hegor the homemaker) renamed it olgenberg. the castle of hegorhoven was finsihsed after 100 years by hegor grandson Jannik hallsberg. during Janniks regin he took the title archduke but with some diplomatic prusser from the elven kings he swore allegiance to the von anerian family and the elven kingdom they were under the protection of. The rise of the house of hallsberg- they were able to keep themselves out of the relgions wars which saw the faith of the one became the main religion of the continent. the archduke and his men march off to war during the war of king garon Alfred hallsberg being the closest support of garon. for this support Garon made the hallsbergs the hereditary stewards all of the imperial families estates and masters at arms of the capital of the kingdom. this pushed them to the statues of the second house of the kingdom. they were the main supporters of Stephan von anerian in The war of Men and the 'Old' races and the archduke lead the combined foreces of the olgenberg and szlski troops into the elven/ork held eastern territory and carved out duchy of Szlski. during the early times of the empire the hallsbergs marched there troops north to fight in the iron war. duirng Harald and Ivar's first invasion the archduchy was rulled by Andras Hallsberg. he was a strong high steward of the relam and a close supporter of the emperor Uhtred Von Anerian 2nd. however his homosexuality was found out by the lord justice of the empire at the time Anton Keroi 1st and so he was forced from court leaving the emperor without his high steward. during the problems ANdras rose up in rebellion during the problems. henry 'the Handsome'- born 1781YBCW Henry hallsberg was the second son of Andras hallsberg. he was the archdukes only true born son (his older brother corndarin acturlly being the son of his uncle Albrecht) he became archduke in 1742YBCW when his father died of his wounds at the fall of hells-landing. already however Henry had proven himself he was a tested soldier having fought during his fathers rebellion during the problems. in the summer of 1761YBCW he had married a frankish heiress the countess of Chantenay (who also held seveal barronies within frank ontop of her county which was on the slzski boarder.) this was wanted for borth parties. the countess was a strong supporter of the empress and supplied her with frankish knight for her own private army. the couple would have there first and only son in 1756YBCW he became the sonle heir of there parents extsneive lands and made him a powerful noble in frank and the empire. time as kings- In 1340YBCW Charles hallsberg father , archduke Henry hallsberg 3rd (1355YBCW-1320YBCW) inherited the bron kingdom at the age of 15 and he became archduke of olgenberg and the king of bron. These two lands however were divided by other duchies and princely states. henry was allowed to be called king and was emperor anneir's supporter during The river war against House Von Roon. however Henry was defeated several times by the roon and Frankish forces. the Roons who had bought low draft long boats from the northern isle and the olinberg-hallsberg were able to move around Henry and his forces in several battles. The age of emperors-They were once the archdukes of olgenberg and king of bron but when the royal family of von anerians died Charles 1st hallsberg took the throne. They rule over all of the verainberg empire. Their family however has personal lands stretching from the borders of frank to the borders of the tsardoms. The emperor of verainberg is also the king of magara the duke of slzki. Most families as well are related to the imperial family through marriage meaning the hallsbergs are the largest royal family. Only a few barons of slzki and the keroi’s of the frontier and some germinc royal house are free from there influence. the sultan the hallsbergs are the most powerful royal family. They themselves inherited the throne through marriage. Anneir von anerinan was the last of the house of anairan and his daughters son Charles hallsberg arch duke of olgenberg became emperor of the verainberg empire. The hallsbergs have ruled since then and have expanded their family influences into every corner of the empire. With the death of duchess Carla Hugo became duke of rovenhof adding the lands of rovenhof the the family personal fiefdom

branches of the family Hallsbergs- the main branch of the family and ruling family of the verianberg empire. a the senior branch and the eldest they are the most respected and most powerful. there regin has been unbroken since the death of the last anerian emperor 1300YBCW. they are the most wealth hallsbergs and control massive amounts of territory of there own and hold sway over there junior houses. Hallsbergs of zheik- rulers of the county of zheik however there over zellos belief in keeping the blood pure mains that they do not marry out of family who didn't have hallsberg in there name but on the hole they marry in the own family mostly brother to sister. hallsbergs of the marches- created by franz karl 1st after he tamed the duchy of heligoland franz wanted a barrier between the duchy and the archduchy of olgenberg. the land was given to his third son Garon (1019YBCW-969YBCW). his branch of the family ruled the march until the end of the 18 years war after for there loyalty they wher given fresh yet cold lands in the north in the winter marches aand being given the great castle of Asbang hallsbergs of the winter marches- after the 18 years war the hallsberg of the marches where given a new seat by [Duke Michael Rastov. the seat of asbang and the hallsbergs of the northern marches became the hallsbergs of the winter marches of the hallsbergs of asbang. rovenhof-hallsbergs-former rulers of the duchy of rovenhof by as Hugo became duke it was incorporated into the main imperial family Petroniciv-hallsberg-- formed from House of petrnovic through the female line it created the wession-slav ethic group with the wession people.
