Emperor of verianberg Charles 5th has ruled since his fathers death Charles 4th in 40YBCW. incompetent like his father he dreams of expanding his empire territory and making it the dominate power on the continent. at the age of 58 at his health rapidly deteriorating his younger brother Hugo will become king as of his death.

Early life- Born 58YBCW charles was the eldest son of his father charles 4th.
His birth was difficult and it was believed he would be born with some defect but desires from a slight limp he was a perfectly healthy child.
When he was 8 his mother gave birth to his younger brother archduke Hugo and the two would become very close.
He was brought up in his family resort on the great lake. he sent his life with his younger brother hugo and eventually there half brother Micheal kaff .
At 14 he was sent to the impieral army college in the capital. Unlike his morenout going younger brother Charles was more introverted and often found it difficult to interact with his fellow students. Finding a bride- the Forster empress waisted no time attempting to find a bride for her eldest son. The shy and introverted Charles however was not to becoming of the possible options. The Duke of Sax offered his daughters "let him pick one or all of the " he is heard to have said at court "so long as he takes them off my hands.
