Emperor Franz karl hallsberg
the second son of Garon Hallsberg 2nd and he became emperor after he removed his nephew and had them killed. he was one of the most famous emperors who lived due to the fact he opened the Reichensdorf Diet. his son Peter 2nd became emperor.

early life- Born 1055YBCW Franz karl was the second son of Garon 2nd and his wife empress Frankesca. at a young age he showed great interest in reading but his father made sure that at a young age he had a sword in his hand. at 11 he was officially named archduke of olgenberg. he and has brother Herman were very close and the two often tried but herman always got the better of him in a fight. at the age of 15 Franz karls first nephew was born.
reign of herman- when his father died at the age of 50 franz karl became a member of his brother council of nobles. herman left to fight on the frontier where there father had died and so Franz Karl became a leading member of the council. his long term ambition was to humble the duchy of heligoland and the lords out with there dominion who didn't like to listen to the demands of the crown. he would through his brothers reign sit the throne as a regent and became know as the part time king due to the fact that he nominally ruled the country when his brother was off fighting. 1028YBCW Franz karl married Marcella milos the beautiful second daughter of house milos. 2 years later she gave him a son Stephan.
reign of garon 3rd-on the eve of the birth of his second child franz karl's brother died 1024YBCW his son Garon became Garon 3rd and his younger son simon became archduke of olgenberg. Herman made him regent of magara the second most powerful man in the empire. however franz knew he had little influence over the emperor. the empress dowager held the most power along with her love the prince of walchindorf. at this point however Franz Karl still held power as his nephew was not yet in his majority. his block of allies including his wife marcella of house of milos and the petrnovic gave him a significant amount of power. as regent of the empire he took funds to make his army which would quell the northern rebellion. but before this army could march north it was attack by force loyal to the queen and the prince of walchindorf. when this happened franz and his family including his 11 and 9 year old sons where in telta and know Garon under a banner half his mothers sigil and his imperial banner was marching on telta to remove him from power. this army surrounded telta. Franz Karl had his 7000 strong troops bar the gates to the city. soon however the city began to starve so franz karl dawned his Armour and his white horse and went to met his nephew. Garon was sitting on a oak wood high throne with his mother and Konrad 3rd prince of walchindorf. the young emperor demanded that his uncle give up the title of lord protector of the realm and regent of magara. he walked out the tent and contemplated. if he didn't his family could die so he walk back in and tore off his sigil of office and relinquished his control of magara. after this he and his family left to the small lands he was given. know however he had a choice he could sit and skulk or he could do something and he chose the latter.
the removal of Emperor garon 3rd- know 35 he ventured to the one man on body expected. he went to meat with the duke of heligoland, duke Logan olinberg-hallsberg. the duke offered offered the loyalty of himself and the northern verainberg lord in exchange for a massive amount of money and one of his sons as a ward. this gave Franz karl an army and he know marched south to olgenberg and then onto the capital. the emperor raised an army but this was smaller than that of franz karl's. franz karl lay siege to archduke simon in the olgenberg capital first. franz karl arrived just south east of the siege lines. the resulting battle was blood and short. franz karl was at the center of the battle leading his grizzled northern soldiers. his army defeated that of the emperor and the loyalist were forced into retreat. Franz karl then took a mostly cavalry force and went strength to the imperial capital and confronted his nephew the know 22 year old emperor. uncle and nephew confronted one another and before they joined sword Garon took off his crown and killed tow of his uncles guards. franz when clashed with his nephew but was able to knock him out and he and his mother who was present where throne in jail and then Franz Karl became emperor.
reign as emperor-with his two nephew in jail and his sister in law he could know start his reforms. the first was to turn of his northern allies making an army and sending it north to the lands of the norther verainberg lord and the duke of heligoland. this was great for the economy of the empire. the northern ports big and small brought in resources. hells-landing the capital of the duchy and the port at the mouth of The river of kings brought in the most amount of money. after this Franz made his third son Garon (1019YBCW-969YBCW) lord of the marches and creating the hallsberg of the marches line. this effective added another block of lands under the direct control of the hallsbergs. Franz karl put on a face of decorum and kindness the court, however he had under this kind exteriors he had a cold and iron hard personality and made sure he was in charge. this however was shown when Konrad 3rd brother rose up in the name of emperor garon. franz gathered another army and marched east. the short campaigns destroyed the army of walchindrof in a battle outside the small mining hamlet of shooldorf. this however made the very clear about the fact that while they were still alive garon and simon were threats to his reign and so he had the two boys poisoned and there mother as well. in 1001YBCW he began laying the ground work for a great project. this project almost ended when his eldest son stephan died when he was getting married to duke logans daughter after a raid. it was however opened the first pan imperial Parliament ever made. his original plan was to group small areas into groups and they would be given one vote in that group however he released this could cause problems with different lords in these groups wanting different things. so he decided to build a massive parliament build with seats for the leading lord from every family and in 1000YBCW Franz Karl opened the reichensdorf diet. this was a massive political deal as it was not just the first parliament in the empire but it was the first in the know world outside the council in the republic of san antonia. however by 1000YBCW the emperors health was failing. his legs were becoming weak and he had to have an ornate golden staff made to help him walk. this however didn't stop his from doing his work and putting on Armour if need be. but after another year his weight became a problem and his mental health began to fail and his son Garon protector of the realm. franz then went to the imperial estate
death-this last year of his life was difficult for franz and those who looked after him. the emperor had become irritable and hated getting washed. in 998YBCW he died in his sleep and his second son peter become peter 2nd.
Failures & Embarrassments
His first attempt to quell the north was an utterly disastrous but he used those lessons to help with his second campaign.
