In the wake of the death of the crown kasiern, the crown kaiser resigned his position as regent of the empire hhanding power over to a regency council to which Albert Von jallner took control of

Frightened to lose his own ability to protect the impaired emperor and the freezing crown kaiser  the head of the The impiral security agency Michael kaff decided to remove him.

The Conflict

Prelude

an empire without and emperor- in 29YBCW while out hunting in the impieral estates with his brother archduke Hugo and the 8 year old Michael Kaff emperor Charles 5th suffered a seizure.For a week he was in a coma able to be kept alive by the power of magic and when he woke he was impaired his limp some how had gotten worse and his speech and body functions had been impaired. The empress was pregnet with there son and in 28YBCW crown kaiser gedminius (give the verainbergurs name franz joesph) was born. All knew the state would be formed around him. A council was formed in the mean time with the dowager empress and empress taking control along side archduke Hugo. Under the impieral family the empire was stabilised but factions began festering. A cabal had formed under one major general albert von jallner

the rule of the Crown Kaiser- in 12YBCW the state finally had a leader when gediminas franz Joesph hallsberg came of age when he turned 16. the Crown Kaiser became impieral High regent and assumed the head of the impieral goverment.  the young crown kaiser however was out of his depth. while a brave young man, a talanted officer and horsemen and showing pormise in state craft. he gathered hsi family around him and knowing that all around him cabals where growing he turned to his uncle lord michael kaff. at the time michael kaff was comander of Thorianavan. he was tasked with making a security force desgined to root out these cabals and so The impiral security agency was brought into being. millitary expendature was increased, seeing naval build up in the northern isles and the growing properity of the isles. he used this to bring more and more people into work, building railways, and fortress, barracks and living accomindation in order to funel money into the stagnating economy. 
war in the north- in 9YBCW ships began bombarding hells-landing and Thorianavan. the impieral navy attempted to breach the attack but was turned around by the outranged guns of the nrothern fleet. the war last for a year and half until the two sides signed a peace deal. and resulted in peace between the two nations. the crown kaiser was to marry princess astird (born 24YBCW). the couple quickly fell inlove and peace and copration began betwee nthe two former enemies. in 8YBCW the first of the pairs children princess carla was born. 
the loss of the crown kaiser- in 5YBCW the crown kasiren died in child dead and the crown kaiser regined his post as impieral high regent to heartbroken to contiune. at this point the cabals began to come back. a coup siezed the reins of power and quickly von Jallner who had been in effetive exile in the south of the empire back into the halls of power. he quickly began removing his allies and took control of the minister of war and the emperor was forced to make an apprince to bless the new govment. the most important seat on that council over time became the war minister When Von jallner became war minister he exacted dictatorial power over the empire taking massive amounts of tax and imprisoning hundreds which were against him.Seeing this the head of the imperial security agency the emperor's half brother (on his mother’s side) Michael kaff needed to take action. He started gathering support. Out of his own money he bought a scrat war beast to help in his take over. He gathered his agency’s man power. He had 15000 troops and in the capital he had a further 3000 police. But these would not be enough. He went to the area of the empire got the hardest by von jallner. The lorddom of mortjzia learned him 4000 of there troops along with artillery. within the government he was able to get the minister of agriculture, the naval minister and the minister of foreign affairs on his side.
On May Day everything was set in place.

Deployment

within the city there were several regiment including the Imperial guard. the cities police was on the side of Michael and were in there stations waiting for there orders. 
outside the city Michael ISA troops and his troops from the lorddom of mortjzia waited quietly.  they were deployed around the city in order to perform a siege in order to cut off jaller and his forces.

The Engagement

In the dead of night battalions of ISA troops entered the city on both sides of The river of kings. they spread out in the city linking up with police units and They quickly over ran several barrack. then the police rushed out of there stations and placed the city in lock down no won was to leave or enter the city. The mortijzan troop lay waiting for the order to move in.
Sergeant ralf tailberg took 30 men and went to the imperial palace were Von jallner was. The place guard under von jallers command fired upon the ISA troops killing four. Knowing something was wrong Von jallner alerted the army units outside the city. A regiment of 4000 men was dispatched. The fighting at the palace lasted into the day.
By lunch the 34th imperial guard regiment arrived out side the city. The mortjza troop support by a scrat war beast attack first. There battle would last well into the next day.
Mean while the army units which hadn’t been taken captive in the city gathered there strength and marched to help the defenders taking two cannons. The ISA attack force know number 400 . the defenders were running low on ammunition. Sergeant tailberg took 40 men enter the palace through the under ground system. They found there way to the kitchen then after a small fire fight in the palace unblocked the front door. Jallner then order his troops to guard the upper floors he was willing to wait it out. ISA troops they began to attack the upper floors. By this time the garrison of 70 imperial guards were out of ammo and were out of supply’s. by tea the ISA troops had secured the building had taken jallner hostage and had fought of a rescue mission from the army.
The battle outside the city ground on until the next day. The 5th army corp dispatched a further 5000 men and was about to attack he mortjza troops but by that time the coup was over and the ISA troops were massing to help there allies. With there leader capture the army could only hope that they could retain there honor and asked for a end to hostilities. The commander of the mortjza army was furious he wanted the commander of jallners forces's sword he had beaten the imperial army in battle and so deserved it.

Outcome

The army was taken out of power and a more liberal lead was then placed in charge of the army. shortly before he was placed on trail loyalist payed mercenary to spring him out of jail and spirited him away to the northern isle kingdom.

Aftermath

Michael kaff became the leader of Emperor Charles 5th council becoming naval minister and regent of magara. is put a sour taste in many stoick Germinc and verianberguer lords inculding his half brother prince hugo and his cousin archduke Fredrick. this brought alot of firiction to the already troubled impieral goverment and family. it wouldnt be till 2YBCW when the crown kaiser was asked to come back into power and that simmered tentions.
