king of mortijza jan 1st was a decorated military commander and lead his troops during The great crisis. the son of lord Jozef petrnovic- hallsberg 1st, during the Time of termoil he would declare through blood that he was jan the first emperor of verianberg. depite the fact he took the reginal number of one he was infact the 4th lord of mortijiza to be called jan.

Early life-born 105YBCW jan was the eldest son of lord jozof petroniciv-hallsberg (a candidate branch of the house of hallsberg though the female line born 130YBCW) . he was the eldest of 4 children. his next sibling was called yevrem (born 104YBCW-36YBCW). his next sibling to be bron was his first sister Jozephine (100YBCW-40YBCW) and then a younger brother called martin born 96YBCW but he died a few days later. Jan was an intelligent young boy and enjoyed math,literacy and science and wanted to attend the imperial science academy in the capital but his father put him into the imperial army college in charlesgrad at the age of 15. while there jan and his brother yeverm aced there classes and graduated at the age of 17 and were commissioned as officers in 5th Imperial guard Regiment. when the young crown kaiser Charles (later Charles 4th) came to charlesgrad jan was part of the body guard for the emperor and his family. by the time he was 18 he was a captain and he was sent to the frontier and became part of army of the frontier. he fought in several small battles and was wounded but was able to save three of his men before retreating. for this he was awarded the medal of valor by emperor Joseph 4th. he was later promoted to major general and was given command of the 12th mortijzian light infantry and they were sent to the frontier to fight. again he distinguished himself as a commander of men leading from the front on foot not on the back of his horse. again he was promoted to general of infantry at the age of 19 being the youngest general in history.
reign as lord-he became lord at the age of 20. at the age of 21 he married princess elena vermont. she was a harden of her house and was drank posin . he however had little love for her and he spent most of the time on the southern boarder in his family palace in the south so he could work on the frontier. this is where he met his mistress Elisenda. he was promoted to field marshal at 30 and was given full command not just nominal command of imperial forces in mortijza and the mortijzan army. he was a gifted ruler and was able to keep power and please his nobles. lady vermont would give him twins draga and martian when he was age of 35. that same year The great crisis began. he was a great soldier and was one of the few excellent commanders the empire had at its disposal at the time of the great crisis. when it began his forces won several stunning victories against both the twin sultanates imperial army and the Castilian army and it was him who accepted the the surrender of 20000 Castilian troops. and was not an overall theatre commander with his forces being under the command of general scartofski despite jan out ranking him.
the reign of the king-After the war feeling bitter against the emperor and seeing the political instability he declared himself jan 1st emperor of verianberg king of mortijza. across the rest of the empire he was hailed the false king. He led an army north and took over massive areas of the country. After only a year he was defeated and he was sent south with his defeated army and his crown was taken from him. He was however allowed to live but his power was greatly diminished. In later life Charles would appoint him commander in chief of the imperial army. He would die at the age of 80, 25YBCW. His 23 year old grandson peter (born 50YBCW) would take control his father Martian dying of collar the same year Martin was born 50 YBCW dying at the age of 20 . He was given sainthood by the mortijzan sect of the faith of the one.
