the frontier army ranks fluctuate with war time and peace. the largest the army it ever been has 200000 and that was during The great crisis.
Equipment
the troops have all of there equipment stored in massive army camps in the first of the frontier.
Weaponry
the army of the froniter uses a mix of older and new weapons.troops use weapobs like short swords, sabers, axes and in some cases spears. weapons like cannons and other artillry are in sort supply.
the frontier army also has low numbers of cavalry but what cavalry it does uses is light and mobile.
History
Military reforms- the frontier found it hardest to integrate into the new systems set by the expanding impieral government. House keroi which had always had a contentious relationship with the crown was reluctant to give up its massively funded private army. The impieral authorities knew and they also knew that only the carniolans where capable of bearing the burden of the frontier conflict.
So a compromise would be struck. The frontier would provide less men to the pool of the impieral army. The frontier army would however reform along wider impieral lines. Regiments of musketeers where drawn from the various units of frontier militia me. Who had been fighting in the forests and ravines of region for decades.
During the against the Frankish empire the frontier army had adopted the wider impieral uniform and itself had strong cavlary and artillery units but peffered the lighter models of both with frontier light cavlary making great raiders.

A special military budget, fixed by impieral decree, would be given to the frontier to sustain an army of around 30000 men as well as all there equippement and for improving fortifications. While the frontier lords wanted more house Keroi was able to subsidise the budget with its own funds and by calling the Krajina military council (basically the carniolan diet) to devote there own funds to help mentain the army
