History
early history- after the the great conquest the army of the principality of Castilian was allowed to keep its traditions but the abrians began to influence Castilian military. one thing they kept from when the first tribes sailed to Castilian was the falcata sword. during The war of Men and the 'Old' races the Castilian feudal lords summoned massive amounts of troops to fight in the ranks of the castilan army. they smashed apart the forces of Dark elf Empire and linked up with The kingdom of Frank.
medieval age-with a boarder with frank Castilian began to be influenced by there way of war a kin to that of setercha. the Castilian army had knights unlike the wider imperial army. but unlike there Frankish counter parts they preferred the round shield to the more rectangular or triangular shields of frank and verainberg. most of the time the Castilian part of the imperial army was fighting Al shahasy and Antroians. eventually the army began to recruit the Al shahasy as there Al shahasy riders were great light horse archers.
creation of the Castilian colonial army- after the Castilian colonial insurrection the leaders of the empires realized that the colony couldn't be held by Castilian knights and men at arms. they needed a corp of troops raised from the local area and so they looked to the men they had just wared with. they looked to the locals who hadn't went to war with and allowed them special rights if they helped there rulers. this created the Castilian colonial army. this force would be subordinated to the commander of the Castilian army and would be based in the Castilian colony.
the grand military revolution and Germincisation- after the 18 years war the Castilian army and there subordinate force the Castilian colonial army began to modernize. under the imperial army the force began nationalized. uniforms were changed. most Castilian troops wore light chain male under brown cloth shirts and trousers. like most army helmets were gotten rid of. plate armored knights were gotten rid of after seeing how they were utterly destroyed during the early battles of the 18 years war. by the end of the revolution officers were issued with either scimitars of sabers while the infantry kept the spear, shield musket and falcata sword. the uniforms unlike the rest of the imperial army were changed to brown and they were given hats. when duchess Catherine married the 16 year old prince Sebastian (234YBCW-194YBCW) union of the falcon and the hawk the army were introduced to the early pickelhaube helmets. there uniforms began to change as well. the men after about 5000 year final gave up there beloved falcata sword and took sabers.
