The Conflict
Prelude
In the sulante of Castilan southern colony trouble had been bubbling. the princes had for a long time been taking alot of wealth and had been taking young boys to join the army. the local tribes banded through and plotted an uprising
Battlefield
the most northern part of the southern continent is mostly desert with the areas around the coast have farm able land and some plantations.
Conditions
the weather in the southern Continent is hot. so hot in fact that many of the knights sent to fight the rebellion died from the heat.
The Engagement
early moves-rebels attack the largest plantation in the area first on the eve of The festival of union in Castilian. the small 400 strong garrison of men at arms was forced out by the 2000 strong force of rebels. events like these happened through the colony and in the capital of the colony the only thing which saved the over whelmed garrison was the Castilian war gallys in port.
word didn't reach becelo until 3 mouth later. by that time three quarters of the colony was under rebel hands who forced know numbered 30000. the garrison first sailed to the safety of the vinyard isle and the lord of the isle gathered his troops and sent his own ships to retake the colony in the name of prince Phillip 2nd (1527YBCW-1480YBCW). this first army sent to reclaim the colony numbered 12000 men mostly men at arms from the vinyard isle. this host led by Abram pasha was unable to stop the massive mounted army but was able to retake the colonies capital and hunkered down for a siege. the next army to be sent was one formed by and led by prince Philip. the men that landed would become the precursor to the Castilian colonial army. the rebels switched there tactics they started a guerrilla war and were able to inflict damage on the new army. however the Castilian army had replaced it knights with lighter cavalry able to match the rebels camel riders. knowing there rebellion was failing many made there way east to escape. so stayed to continue the fight by the Castilian were able to fight them with little trouble and the rebellion ended 2 years after it started.

heaver taxes were placed on the people in Castilian colony.
