Guess what! There's a book now! — (MxM, Thriller, Erotic)

Strashya Atoll

Strashya Island is a cultivated reef garden of Ring Coral grown by esteemed conservationist and Monolith of the Survivalist's Guild: Xetto the Pugnacious.

Colonization Plan

Colonization of a world happens in stages which are fairly consistent across the Banners.

  • 1st Fleet: 50 Years Ago, Prospectors and Droppers. Promised a citizenship to a settlement or a payoff by those who stake the land later. They set up the terraformation machinery dropped off by others. Their info builds the reports used in bidding.
  • 2nd Fleet: 35 Years Ago, Bidders offer to finish the terraformation. On Gishani, tor Rakuni was chosen for the bid, and chose Xetto the Pugnacious to do the job. He had to leave the Pantheon for that.
  • 3rd Fleet 15 Years Ago, The Jhoutigari move in. Extended families are allowed to move in. Conscripts may volunteer to move in.
  • 4th Fleet 5 years from now. Fourth Fleet: Immigrant applicants. Brokered by the Jhoutigari and requiring conscription to apply. Essentially is the Jhoutigari selling people to the settlements or placing them according to their own wishes. Often a time when the Jhoutigari will use an influx of immigrants to shift the political alignment of a settlement.

Features

Xetto carefully cultivated the growth of the island to take advantage of the rich and powerful geyser column at its eastern edge. He extended the land outwards by seeding a reef of ring coral to build an inner lagoon, which he has since reinforced and began to fill in with a floor of filtering species. On the western edge of the island, the lagoon spills out into a swamp, watering the Neje Trees quickly gr

Surface

Geyser Plateau

Standing high over the lagoon and most of the island, the geyser plateau is a giant formation of Jhoutaioan Coral built around an extant series of geysers to further its pressure build upwards and fuel the growth of the life within.

Fumarole Vents

Fumarole vents around the island are often contained within stone wells to prevent their fumes from getting into the corallums. These end up looking like great smokestacks at times through the day.

Toxic Lagoon

This lagoon's transformation into freshwater is well underway but incomplete. While it may be safe to skim the surface waters for podable drinking water, fish from the lagoon are full of concerning amounts of mercury.

Southern Wetlands

Running along the south side of the islands, a sandy headland links Gishani to other islands during the low tide season. During the high-tide season, the waters rise up and make for good fishing.

Neje Forest

At the west end of the island, a forest of young Nege trees grows from the mud, forming the first and second stories of an aspiring woodland which Xetto then plans to grow across the northern channel and to the mainland.

Northern Headlands

using the ring coral to connect Strashya to the mainland on the other side of its northern channel, Xetto is using those northern headlands to box in the lagoon

Settlements

Points of Interest

Nitre Mines

Located within the base and subterranean levels of the Plateau.

Dir'rh Nejethon

Located southwest on the Plateau along the more solid spit of land and coral of the southern edge of the atoll. This started as a supply point between the Neje and the Plateau—a place to leave supplies that didn't need to go up to the town atop the plateau.

Dir'rh Aubhai

Plateau-top city. Now abandoned.
