Eras

First Fleet

The First Fleet was a carefully budgeted incursion into an inhospitable landscape of toxic vapors and crashing tides. At the time, the space which Nejethon now inhabits was a poisonous mire with only the first outcroppings of Jhoutaioan Coral growing from Glow Rain seeded across the world.

Nejethon did not exist yet, but even from his first drafts of plans for the island, Xetto the Pugnacious intended for it to be point of resource exchange between the plateau, the neje forest, and potential fishing operations, as well as being the primary point of interaction with the lagoon to its north.

Second Fleet

The Second Fleet was when the Atoll began to truly arise from the quagmires. Guided by Xetto, and often done by his own hand, his team of Masons and Botanics grew the coral into a ring connecting to the coast to the north, enclosing the channel into a lagoon. This process is more closely detailed in Strashya Atoll if you would like to know more.

During this time, Nejethon's settlers began to report edible fish in the seas from other operations across the world, and began to fish the large sea beasts up for the town to eat. It was more delicious than the rations and ConFood they had been surviving on, though did have to be carefully treated before consumption to prevent sickness.

Fishing became such a lucrative and relaxing pasttime within Nejethon that it grew from being a depot to being a full-on fishing village, fed by the trolly connecting it to the Dir'rh Aubhai top the Plateau.
