A race of elves that can be found across the seas surrounding Eveynjar, the Anguiridiri or Storm Elves are one of the foremost seafaring peoples of Eveynjar, masterfully sailing in both calm or stormy weather, letting nothing slow down their travel. This masterful use of sailing has caused many of this elven lineage to try their hand at piracy, and due to their ability to sail in even the toughest of weathers, they are incredibly good at such things.
The Anguiridiri race isn't named for its ability to traverse through storms, but also their adeptness at making them. Many Anguiridiri are incredibly adept at using lightning magic to attack and create powerful storms for their ships to hide within. They gained this ability from their ancestors, the Electryll or Storm Dragons and a race of fae known as Tintreach.
Like previously mentioned, the Anguiridiri are incredible seafarers. Though it the Aguiridiri don't have a specific place their race calls home, they are a common sight in many harbors and living on islands or coastal areas. However, there is a considerable population of Anguiridiri living in Yllithr in the Meroudean Peninsula, with many an Anguiridai serving in Yllithr's navy. It is here that many Anguiridiri ships are built, using the incredibly durable Olofir Rockwood to build ships out of, and then reinforcing their ships with pieces of monster bone or chitin fished up from the Sea of Eternity.
Even though they are expert seafarers, not even the Anguiridiri have been able to traverse the Sea of Eternity, as the sea is too calm to properly sail, the trek too long, and the monsters too deadly.
With their sturdy ships and expert handle of the seas, the Anguiridiri often come into conflict against other seafarers, as they take the Pirate's life approach to the seas. They plunder merchant ships, destroy naval vessels, and beleaguer for many harbors across Eveynjar, often returning their spoils to the Meroudean Peninsula to deposit far from the eyes of those that abhor them. In fact, this practice has created an entire Anguridiri city dedicated to the banking of loot far above any place a normal ship could access.
In more recent years, with Empyria's attempt to enlarge itself, the Anguiridiri did what they did best: storm chaos. As the Empyrian ships began spreading into Indeljar's Strait of Ganalighe, the Anguiridiri made their move. Unleashing powerful storms that caused the Empyrian troupes to panic, they forced the navy into the smaller, fjords surrounding the strait, fjords filled with sharp rocks and krakens. The Empyrian Navy stood no chance, and quickly succumbed to the onslaught of storm, rock, and oversized squids.
Due to this event, the Anguiridiri as a whole are considered heroes, and for the first time in thousands of years, these amazing Storm elves are beginning to live lives outside of that of piracy.
Anguiridiri naming conventions follow similar rules to Alfudiri, though they have names more similar to the Franks, an old German tribe that hails from modern France, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany. Like the Alfudiri, they don't have family names. Instead, the Anguiridiri take the city or town they are from as their surname, or they use their Pirate Crew as their surname. Example: Hubert of Arlahil or Aigulf of the Kraken Throng.
Male Names: Hubert, Aigulf, Leudast, Hartgard, Thegan, Theodwin, Drogon, Lull, Fulcaire, Ragno

As an Anguiridai, you are proficient in Water Vehicles and one of the following skills:
As an Anguiridai, you add your Wisdom modifier to Awareness checks that discern things about the sea, any form of current, and weather.
As a descendant of the Electryll, you and your people have the incredible ability to generate electrical energy. As an action per Long Rest, you generate a field of static electricity. For the next minute, any target of your choice that moves within 10 ft of you or you hit it for the first time on your turn, must make a Reflex saving throw (DC = 8 + your Wisdom modifier + your Chaotic Primal Magic proficiency). On a failed save, the target takes 1d12 lightning damage and is stunned until the end of your next turn.
On a success, the target takes half damage and isn't stunned.
At 15th, 30th, 45th, and 60th levels, the damage from this feature is increased by 1d12.
At 25th level, this ability can be used a number of times per Long Rest equal to your Wisdom modifier.
