Human Folk
A sub-lineage of the Lineage of Eldyr, the Human Folk are a collection of races descended from those Diiv who never used their Draconic Forms, with most originating immediately after the Fall of Valoreum as the survivors' children. Due to this, many Human Folk seem to have a fascination with their draconic ancestors, idealizing them as the perfect form of any life in Ethenrea. Most Human cultures see these draconic ancestors as almost god-like, only being superseded by beings like Rym-ill or their actual pantheons. Because of this fascination with the draconic, many humans have the Thu'um as a connection to their draconic ancestors, molding their voices into powerful weapons that can be used for combat or for peace.
Despite their semi-draconic natures, Humans are not as well adapted to Ethenrea, not being able to cope with its wildlife as well as the Elves or Beast Folk. Instead, it is human ingenuity that keeps them alive, from the invention of aqueducts to martial art styles to defend against the draconic or bestial creatures that may eat them.
