Helion
Founded by Helios, Helion was one of the Ouranid League poleis. It sits on the northeastern point of the island of the same name, just south of Lydia. Helios is one of only two members of the Ouranid League who still rules their original city.
The city lies before a ringed harbor, the sole entrance to which is straddled by a towering statue of Helios called the Colossus. Beyond the harbor, cyclopean limestone walls ring a mighty city, one bigger in size than its population would indicate. At the heart of this city lies the mountain acropolis of Helios, his palace a gold-plated wonder the sparkles in the sunlight.
Inspiration
Helion is inspired by the island of Rhodes. The Colossus of Rhodes was actually built after the period that inspires the Titan Era, however, it seemed such a perfect callout to Helios's vanity, I opted to include it anyway.
