Kolchis
Kolchis is the major polis of the land of the same name and the site of its power. It sits upon the banks of the Axeinos Sea, though the city proper lies several miles away from the harbor.
The Phasis River runs along the southern side of the city. North of that lies a fortified hill on which rests the Qulha Palace, long the site of the kings of Kolchis. Below the fortress, a network of caves with numerous openings creates a city partially underground, low buildings now spread outward from the caves, creating an urban maze.
History
Koios founded Kolchis following the Ambrosial War after conflicts between himself and his mate Phoebe escalated. After they were reconciled, he left the city to mortal rulers.
