Elládos
Elládos is a land of unaligned city-states located on the northern shore of the Thalassa Sea. As apt seafarers, the Elládosi have spread their influence across that sea to many other neighboring lands.
While often considered the center of civilization—especially by the Elládosi themselves—the land remains precarious. Nearby, Phlegra is almost overrun with centaurs. In Illyris, tribes of barbarians threaten to raid into Elládos. Just beyond the fringes of the city-states still lurk Gigantes, many eager to prey on Men. Even the wilds within the traditional borders of Elládos hold plenty of dangers, both mortal and Otherworldly, from bandits to chimerae.
Geography
Rocky, rugged mountains define the landscape of Elládos. The Olympian Mountains form the northern rim of land and the highest peaks, while lesser peaks dot the rest of the region. A significant archipelago spreads out between mainland Elládos and Lydia, all of which are considered part of the land.

History
Elládos became the heartland of the Ouranid League following the Ambrosial War in the Golden Age. Even following the breaking of the Ouranid League after the Titanomachy, it has remained a prime center of civilization around the Thalassa.
Inspiration
Elládos is inspired by Greece, but before the rise of the current continents. The exact landscape is different, as is the layout of the archipelago. Notably, Crete is currently a part of Atlantis that will later break off, and Kronion (Athens) is moved to a stand-in for Euboea.
