Korinth
Korinth was the original polis of Kreios during his reign as part of the Ouranid League. It lies in the southern tip of mainland Elládos, separated from Kronion by the Strait of Korinth.
Rugged, low mountains flank the city on the west, while the Thalassa Sea lies east, creating a naturally enclosed shelter with limited overland approaches. The acropolis and the Temple of Hephaistos sit upon a single rocky plateau on the city's western side.
Walls encompass the city proper, with a wide road leading down to Lecheae, the harbor. Long walls enclose this road in order to keep the harbor protected as well.
Government
Officially, Hephaistos owns the city and its acropolis temple is in his honor. However, mortal Kreiads actually rule the polis.
