Arimaspia
Arimaspia is a wilderness region north of Kimmeria. It is home to Gigantes, especially the Arimaspi themselves (Cyclopes), gryphons, and other monsters. Mankind dares not tread to such a wild place.
The largely nomadic Arimaspi are plagued by gryphon attacks as well as wars with other Cyclops clans. Occasionally, they raid into Phlegra in hopes to capture prisoners to serve as feasts.
Geography
The vast landscape is mostly fertile steppes and rolling hills, though great forests and towering mountains frame the plains. From the midsts of the plains, they seem to stretch on forever, no end in sight.
Inspiration
Herodotus claims that north of Scythia lie the lands of the Arimaspi who warred with gryphons for control of gold. Here, I draw inspiration from the Ukraine.
