The eldest of the Divines, Vraekar was born in the fires of The Time of Creation to Iskarne and Xultar. Also known as the Dragonlord, he fought alongside his mother in the War of the Divines against his father and his sister Ravenna, and ultimately stepped in to lead his siblings after their death in their home of Orobeus. Vraekar led his siblings through the Dawn Age, giving life to Earedar. Vraekar created the race of Giants, the first people to walk the face of Earedar, and the oldest amongst the sentient races.
Vraekar also led the Divines through the Chaos Wars with the Primordials after the disappearance of his brother Charon. It was he who ultimately outwitted Khazmijir, turning the Elemental Lords against him and sealing the primrodials within the prison-realm of El' Shanayah. It was upon this victory that Vraekar was declared the Lord of Creation.
After the defeat of the primordials, Vraekar ruled over an epoch known as The Golden Age, seeing the creation of the Elder Races as well as the realms of Evernest, Heshbenor, Rancor and Ghelebad. In addition, Vraekar lay with his sisters Arishanne and Ravenna, birthing the first of the Elder Gods. He fathered Tisrendel and Helmvor by Arishanne, and Eltax and Belegor by Ravenna. Despite his repeated efforts, Celestine would not lay with him, and thus bore him no children.
For millennia the Divines lived in relative peace and harmony in their realm of Orobeus, until Ravenna journeyed into The Void beyond The Edge of the World and was captured by the Prince of Chaos. Driven mad during her centuries of captivity, when Ravenna returned she grew flush with jealousy of Arishanne and Vraekar. The jealousy and hatred within her continued to mount, until finally she crept into Vraekar's chambers while he slept and stabbed him with a dagger, slaying him and thus beginning The Godswar.
