Xultar Character in Earedar | World Anvil

Xultar (Xuul-tahr)

"I had never heard of the sovereign lord known as the Prince of Chaos until I journeyed into the Void, and found myself amongst his people in the mysterious city of Tsh'nka. While I was unable to learn much in the way of details around this potentate during my travels, I did hear a name whispered in only the darkest corners of the lands beyond the falls, and always in awe; Xultar, the First Prince of Chaos."
Vairor Dremora
Beyond the Edge of the World

Very little is known about the mysterious figure known as Xultar, the Prince of Chaos, beyond myth and legend. It is said that he was created by Iskarne, the First Mother herself, to be her personal companions during her travels throughout the cosmos. He was created to be the perfect companion, and a being her equal. They had several children together, and for many eons they were happy. But in the end, his heart was as wild as the energy from which he was created. This divine, while small at the beginning, widened over the ages, resulting in the event known as the War of the Divines.
The war lasted millenia, and shook the very fabric of existence. Xultar and Ravenna faced off against Iskarne and the rest of the Divines, and the battle raged across the cosmos. In the end Xultar and Iskarne fell, locked in a mortal struggle. As Xultar fell his spirit created the Nether Abyss, his body The Ether. As Iskarne fell her body become Earedar, her heart the heavens, and her bones the outer realms. As their remaining children wept over the bones, they begain about taking up the task of creation in their mother's stead, Ravenna's transgression forgiven in the interest of peace. And so began the Dawn Age.
