Úlbeans
The Úlbeans1 are the ruling tribe of Úlb, and are found throughout most of the kingdom, except for the southernmost villages, which are mostly inhabited by Gáhúrans, a tribe of Þrihaks. Their culture is heavily influenced by Eila'togía, the ancient Mörkel proto-kingdom, as Úlb was the only part of that kingdom which survived its downfall, and even today the Úlbeans still see themselves as the true inheritors of the kingdom.
Most Úlbeans outside the capital of Naral have some common blood with the Þrihaks south of the Plain of Kings, as many Þrihak tribes were conquered and assimilated into Úlbean culture centuries ago.

Common Myths and Legends
The patron deity of the Úlbeans is Ahes Emparíterí, an aspect of Ahes -god of wisdom, laws and healing- who's associated with the spread of Mörkel culture. Like the Banfirdans to the west, many Úlbeans also worship Óhena, another deity associated with wisdom, along with Saþíana (whom locals call Sáþea), goddess of marriage and weaving.
