Hýtens
The Hýtens1 are a Mörkel tribe inhabiting northern North-Eila on the central Plain of Kings, around the town of Tersar. Their territory borders those of the North-Eilans to the southeast and Förkans to the southwest.
Like the North-Eilans, they are a mixture of the people who once ruled Eila'togía -the cradle of Mörkel civilization- on one hand and various tribes that invaded and conquered it around the middle of the third century a.Dr, but their culture is quite different as it's less influenced by eilatogían customs and religion.

Common Myths and Legends
Although many Hýtens worship the eilatogían pantheon to some degree, their patron deity is the divine smith Zehares, whose role is vaguely similar to that of Pegíar worshipped by the North-Eilans. Zehares is particularly associated with a large, cloven boulder near the town of Tersar and the spring which flows from it.
According to the Hýtens, the boulder is a fragment of the tooth of Erkar, one of the primordial gods in Mörkel mythology, which he smashed to create rocks and sand during the world's creation. Zehares later used a chisel to break the boulder, causing the water to spring forth.
