Eila'togía

Eila'togía was the prototypical Mörkel kingdom, whose culture and religious traditions formed the basis of those practiced by most Mörkels today, especially the aristocracy.
Tales of Eila'togía's earliest rulers are the main subject of the epic poem Erkóad1, and the kingdom's history has inspired a number of legends that form a considerable part of Mörkel folklore around Fekai Lake on the central Plain of Kings .

History

While Eila'togía's founding is traditionally traced back to king Kaþúló around 100 a.Dr, his predecessor Fekai had left him with a relatively stable country before her death2. At its height, the kingdom ruled parts of modern North-Eila, South-Eila and Úlb, and had strong ties with the tribal chiefs (and later kings) living around Fekai Lake and what is now East-Óltrat.
Eila'togía experienced a serious decline during the third century due to a civil war, and finally collapsed in 257 a.Dr due to invasions from neighbouring kingdoms.
