Tlókonans

Tlókonans1 are the ruling tribe of Tlókon on the central Plain of Kings, inhabiting the area around the capital of Östal in the western part of the kingdom and -to lesser extend- the northern region as well.
They, along with a number of other tribes, migrated from modern Lelenda to the northwest in the mid-second century a.Dr, and eventually became the dominant tribe in northern Tlókon, to the point that most of the other ones in the region were absorbed or supplanted by them. By the time the Tysíans of Aralrar to the south conquered Tlókon in the early fifth century, the Tlókonans had become the most powerful tribe in the region, even more so than the Útlúkans who had settled it before them, and have remained so since the Útlúkans migrated elsewhere and the Tysíans were driven out.

Culture

Common Dress code

Traditional Tlókonan clothing consists of a yellow cloak with green edges, green loincloth or dress, and conical hats similar to those worn by neighbouring tribes. Their warriors are identified by their bronze- or stiff leather helmets, which are conical, with a plume of red feathers at the top and adorned with the fur of Sönakad Wolves at the base.

Common Myths and Legends

The patron deity of the Tlókonans is the fertility goddess Leþa, known to them as Leta, to whom they trace their lineage. Datena, goddess of war and passion, was once venerated by the Tlókonans as well, but this is rare nowadays due to her association with the Tysíans.
