Pickled Green Tomatoes

Directions
- Slice tomatoes and stuff into 1-quart mason jar.
- Peel garlic. In a small saucepan, combine garlic, vinegar, water, dill, peppercorns, tumeric, sugar, and salt. Bring to low boil, stirring occasionally.
- Once salt and sugar is dissolved, pour the brine into the jar, allowing the garlic to settle on top of the tomatoes. Tap the jar on the counter to release air bubbles. Discard remaining brine.
- Screw on lid tightly and allow to cool to room temperature, then store in the refrigerator for at least 24 hours.
