Pirate Tales: Armored Wyrm
A pirate crew came across an earthwyrm while searching for treasure on the shores near the Drakeridge Mountains in Drakemyst.
The creature attacked the crew when they got too close to its burrow. The pirates attempted to fight it off but didn't have the right weapons on hand at the moment. The wyrm killed several pirates and their dragonkin companions, with only a few managing to escape and return to the ship.
Afterward, they devised a plan to lure the borewyrm close enough for the ship's artillery to strike it. This strategy proved successful, allowing them to continue their treasure hunt without fear. The crew ultimately found the treasure in the Earthwyrm's burrow and brought it back to their outpost in the Shattered Archipelagos.
That thing came out of nowhere! Managed to off several of us before we even knew what was going on.
I'm glad that bastard is dead, it killed my brother.
