Remembrance Day
Remembrance Day is a significant holiday commemorating the conclusion of the Draconian War. It also serves as a day of remembrance for the brave individuals who made the ultimate sacrifice in battle. Throughout Azlov, the Dragonguard typically leads the observance of this day, but it is particularly celebrated with great fervor in the cities of Eldrya and Duskfire Village.
Over time, the commemoration during the holiday has expanded to honor the memory of all soldiers who have sacrificed their lives in various conflicts, extending beyond just the Draconian War.
History
On the day following their hard-fought victory over the Wyrm of Chaos and the conclusion of the Draconian War, the valiant Dragonguard, joined by their esteemed Ancient Dragonkin allies, set aside the day for rest and solemn remembrance to honor the fallen heroes who had bravely fought in the intense battle.
Despite the fact that the formidable Wyrm of Chaos had been successfully captured and brought under control, he displayed his reverence by willingly taking part in honoring his allies. The following day, he was escorted to the unforgiving frozen desert of Frostcrest, where he was securely imprisoned, ensuring that he posed no further threat.
