Zoltar (zoʊltˈɜːr)

Zoltar is an ancient drake that lives in a cave within the Forgotten Forest's small mountain ridge. He is known as the "Drake of the West" as he is the only ancient dragonkin living in Ardenfell. Most of his kind just call him "Zolt".

The name was based off of "Bolter", a naval term used for when an aircraft attempting an arrested landing on the flight deck of an aircraft carrier touches down, but fails to catch an arrestor cable and come to a stop.^[1]
