Notable Articles in the Power Material Category
Whew - 429 Articles!
And yes, I did read every single one of them... Gems and dragons and souls galore, ya'll never fail to impress! But I am going to have to change the judging process next year when I do another of these, because I was thinking maybe 100 articles submitted and I was NOT REMOTELY PREPARED. But I still had fun. There were a couple things I saw over and over and I'll provide some feedback on them.
First is, if you aren't using the right hand column, you should supress it to give yourself more room. To do that go to the SECTIONS tab and scroll all the way down and you will find a blue check box labeled Display article sidebar (override). Check the box and everything in that sidebar will disappear and you will have that room back to build into your articles.
Second is, LINK LINK LINK TO YOUR WORLD, and take the time to FILL OUT THE DESIGN TAB MOUSEOVER SNIPPET FIELD AND THE EXCERPT FIELD. The first shows up when someone rolls over the link to that article. It can be useful for pronounciation (some articles get read on streaming) and for providing a mini context. This does not need to be extensive, but even a single sentence can provide useful context, particularly to people who are new to your world (like me). The EXCERPT provides info on the article block.
So here is the winner and the articles that had something particularly unique about them - they stood out to me in some way. I suggest you take a look at them because they were definitely worth looking at!

Thank you so much for the kind words and support. As well as thank you so much for being a judge and supporting summer camp. It was my first experience with WA and I had such a great time and it wouldn't be possible without people like you! Now I've gotta start looking through these :D

Well thank you! Last year's WA Summer Camp was my first experience with the community and it's a really fun and positive experience. I'm happy to have found it and it's a pleasure to be involved. Your article showed a lot of creativity and a great aesthetic eye. I expect you'll be creating lots of great work here on WA in the future!
