Hippolyta FitzRanulf Character in Albion | World Anvil

Hippolyta FitzRanulf

Hippolyta FitzRanulf is a woman made of opinions. The illegitimate daughter of Lord Ranulf, she attended Schola as one of Bear House. She promptly apprenticed in the Guard  By the beginning of Ancient Trust, she has risen to the rank of Captain, with a particular focus on suspicious deaths.    She is deeply dubious about the aristocracy for many reasons, but she is more than deft enough not to be taken in by Geoffrey Carillon's daffy lord impression and deals with him entirely fairly.

Ancient Trust
Hippolyta is assigned to investigate the deaths of Temple Carillon and Delphina Pennington Carillon that occur just before the beginning of Ancient Trust.
In The Cards
After the death of Senara Wilson in In The Cards, Geoffrey Carillon asks her to be the investigator involved. She's quite dubious of Galen Amberly and Martin Taylor and of the Dwellers At The Forge in general.
Point By Point
Hippolyta is the initial contact when Galen Amberly and Lydia Pyle go to the Guard about their concerns. While she's initially dubious, she admits they have an excellent point, and provides support with several others of the Guard.
