Welcome to the third month of the 12in12 Challenge! Due to some real life delays, this will open at March 2nd and will close at 6 AM EST, March 31st. Late entries can still collect the participation badge at any point, but will not be entered into the list of submissions. We may open a section of late entries at a later date.

The Judges
Articles and art pieces will be judged by myself (Kiyomo) and the Judge of the month. In this case, the month of March will have the wonderful and creative Imagica. Together we'll go through the entries and and come up with our short list, once thats complete we'll have it posted by the 10th of April, and the actual winner will be announced by the 15th of April. Know that every article submitted for this month's challenge have the option (if they wish so) to be featured in Imagica dedicated cookbook with commentary by Gruzzo, the goblin chef of her world. Prompt 1: A Special Dish from your world
Example
In the frozen reaches of the world, no meal is as cherished as Emberbrew Stew. Made from the roots of the fire-thistle plant and slow-cooked over smoldering peat, the stew carries a rich, smoky flavor with a subtle heat that lingers on the tongue. Warriors and wanderers alike claim it warms the bones better than any cloak, making it a staple in long winter nights.
Prompt 2: A Unique Ingredient
Example
The elusive Moonshade Truffle only blooms under the light of a full moon, its pale-blue flesh glowing faintly in the dark. Found deep in the Whispering Woods, it is both a delicacy and a dangerous prize- rumors persist that the truffle feeds on ambient magic, warping the minds of those who consume too much.
Prompt 3: A tasteful Memory
Example
As a child, Liora would wake to the scent of honeyed flatbread drifting from her grandmother’s kitchen. The old woman would hum as she kneaded the dough, her fingers dusted with cinnamon. Even now, years after the village fell to ruin, one bite of that same bread transports Liora back- to warm summer mornings, laughter by the hearth, and a world that was still whole.

The Brimming Ladle is more than just an inn- it is a sanctuary for weary travelers, a place where the scent of slow-roasted meats and fresh-baked bread welcomes all who step inside. Its famed Traveler’s Feast is a spread of regional delicacies from across the land, ensuring that no guest feels too far from home. Whether a wandering bard or a merchant on the road, everyone finds comfort at the Ladle’s hearth, where stories are exchanged as freely as the steaming bowls of stew.
Prompt 5: Culinary Geniuses
Example
Gruzzo carried his dream proudly. He taught himself to chop, to simmer, to braise. He wandered villages and towns, begging for scraps not to eat, but to cook with. His meals slowly earned trust. A bowl of mushroom soup. A plate of fresh, soft honey-glazed biscuits. Through his travels Gruzzo discovered that food was the key to people’s hearts. It was the one thing that could bridge the gap between their fear and his dream.
