What is it about the fates that makes a man of science have such a fierce belief in a tenuous “something” that could be associated both with everything that happens and nothing that ever happens? Why the belief in fate?
 
And for Xerrakir,
Is Xerrakir aware of his position as one “saved” by the gods? He gave that speech to Nova about Nova being redeemable whilst being one who was directly saved by a higher power, so I’m wondering about his mindset on his own position in the grand scheme of things, essentially.
