Riyo Tagadi
Riyo Tagadi is a zeo pilot and veteran military leader known for leading coalitions of Pact forces in a wide variety of operations and conflicts, especially those involving Unitas Consortium. Tagadi is widely recognized as a staunch defender of the ideals of the Pan-Galactic Accords and a capable battlefield commander. She garnered significant support from residents of the Khau’s Haven and Kish heliospheres after a highly publicized attempt on her life by an unidentified team of assassins suspected to be affiliated with Unitas.
Tagadi pilots a cream-white Amaroq with green arm and leg stripes, usually fitted with a King Lance, E-Shield, and Mano Muerte Designator. In battle, Tagadi leads from the front and provides a bulwark for advancing troops to rally around. Tagadi’s use of protocol weapons has come under repeated scrutiny, but no violations of Protocol One have been substantiated as of writing.
Tagadi made a name for herself as the battlefield commander of the Void Front, a group of guerrilla fighters who spearheaded a successful rebellion on Horola against Belera Corporation, which had breached agreements with the planet’s mining collective and claimed unilateral control of the mining colony. To prevent Belera from re-establishing its hold on the colony, Tagadi led a bold attack on the corporation’s mothership, leading to the capture of the ship and a formal ceasefire between Belera Corporation and the Void Front.
Over the next twenty-three years, Tagadi led five major military operations against Unitas-affiliated corporations and GuardCorps forces, as well as a number of lesser opponents. In recent years, Tagadi’s extremely active military operations have been rumored to be backed by warlike criminal organizations. According to critics, Tagadi uses her reputation to gain public support for shady, exploitative conflicts that benefit pirate groups that thrive in chaos and war, smuggler networks that handle logistics and armaments, and criminal mercenaries that specialize in infiltration, spying, and sabotage. These organizations, critics claim, form the bulk of Tagadi’s forces.
