YoCP Episode 9: Hear Him Out

"Would you want to talk to your 'families' again?"

"No! No, that's a no go!" Zeldine jumps to answer. "But I also didn't have any sibblings... which maybe was a good thing."

"I.... uhm, I'd at least hear them out, I guess. And then decide..." Kass states thoughtfully. "I mean, we can't blame our siblings for our parents' choices, right?"

"Ugh, I guess not... Alright, I'll hear him out then. Zel, did you get his number? ..hello? Earth to Zeldine?" Zeldine snaps out of whatever thoughts had her frozen for a second.

"What? Oh, yeah, here you go." She gives me the numbers and adds: "He seemed real nice, you know. Genuinely concerned about you."

"Yeah, well, I guess so..." I mumble, looking at the number, not knowing what to write. "Where do I start?"

"How about 'sorry about running. Thought you'd appreciate my gym ass'?" Zeldine jokes, back to her usual self.

"Eww, that's her brother, Zel!" Kass answers for me.

"Yeah, wow! Also, do I need to point out that he is off limits?" I say, pointing a finger at Zeldine.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever!" she snorts.
