I step back to let Kass get a hug in as well. Then Zeldine, who gives him a very close hug, and whispers something in his ear. Her fingers teasing his hand... Oh my fucking God! The way he was suddenly acting all cool around her today.
I freeze up as I suddenly understand. I can hardly keep myself calm and composed - smiling as Felix says goodbye and boards the train. Does Kass know? She looks confused. Good. That is good, right? Zeldine is looking at me with that stupid blue fucking face.
"You slept with my brother?"
"Ohmygod, I was just about to tell you earlier! Wait, why are you looking like that?"
"You fucking slept with my brother!" I reiterate.
"Alea, not here - Full train station?" Kass says somewhere far away from relevance right now.
"Shut up!" I snarl, not looking at her.
"Well, yeah, I mean, he was soo square and innocent, and he really needed that wake-up call, y'know? So I helped him become more relatable. You're welcome by the way," Zeldine says, looking more uncertain.
"I'm welcome? I'm WELCOME?"
