YoCP Episode 17: Curious Because of You

We fill some plates and sit. Felix' eyes are darting through the menagerie of kobolds, trolls and everything in between.

"Is it weird - being around... well, us?" I ask curiously.

"It's... different," he responds tactfully. "...to see it all so... up close. But I am grateful for the chance!" I smile.

"I was surprised you knew about Thrud and Thor," I say leadingly.

"Yeah, uhm, I have always had a general curiosity, I guess. Maybe because of you."

"How did you know how to find me, anyway? What to look for?"

"Oh, uhh... You won't believe how many drawings I did of tanned, red haired sisters through the years," Felix explains bashfully. "I tracked your, uhh, orphanage and looked for the nearest Fey Groves."

After dinner, Thrud calls Kass and me in for a meeting, while Zeldine volunteers to entertain Felix. Warning us of the problems with long lost families coming back to reclaim their abandoned and confused children. She talks our ears off till the point where our brain's all fried when we're finally out of there.
