Port Liberty
Port Liberty is home to the various privateers, freebooters, pirates and independent captains of the Terminus Systems. They occupy a unique position, as they directly serve the interests of the Guilds of the Musura Federation, yet they occupy a fully independent polity.
Liberty is run by a collective of elected and influential captains, known as the Lords of Liberty. These represent the various factions that all rely on the continued operation of Port Liberty to continue their ways of life. Smugglers, pirates, privateers, mercenaries and all manner of those who live outside of the law continue to pay tithes to the Lords, because they understand this station is key to their survival. This station remains secure due to its incredible defensive measures. Port Liberty is not worth taking if the pirate lords blow up the station on their way out, and the local authorities know this. They continue to allow the Port to operate, while regularly flooding the system with spies and agitators.
