Nocturne

A moon orbiting a massive gas giant, most of Nocturne's habital land is bathed in an eternal darkness of sorts. The planet is mostly resource pour, but contains a wide variety of unique fauna and flora. It's location means that it is mostly isolated from wider galactic affairs, however the Grand Baronies of Carthage has a small fiefdom here. There is no Interstellar Gate, so the system is rarely traversed, and can only be accessed by ships equiped with a Jump Drive.
However, because of how out of the way it is, Nocturne has proven a stable smuggling route for the Zym Cartels. The local officials are happy to look the other way, so long as they get their hands on valuable and much needed supplies.
