Duty runs deep in the veins of the Atlas family, even among its black sheep. Dutrius has dedicated his life and vast amounts of the family coffers to his cause: discovering why the
Scourge turned on the planets they once swore to protect.
Unlike most of his family, Dutrius decided to aid the refugee efforts personally. He craved answers, an understanding of why this was happening. He met with the
Refugees of Mercury aboard the Atlas liners, he heard stories of stoic, terrible Scourge. Violently bright champions of the sun, singing to themselves as they slaughtered. Once, he even glimpsed the comet-like streak as another set of Scourge landed on Mercury. The imagery seared itself onto the back of his retinas, fermenting in due time into a full blown obsession with the Scourge.
His obsession runs deeper now than ever before. Any piece of news about the scourge, any texts, any information is zealously hunted down and added to his investigation.
This is wonderful! Thank you so much!
