Captain of the guard in Seeblick
Muireall den Mhuir informed Alaric of The Infection in Meerwacht as Alaric is currently in charge with the mayor being out of town. She also pointed out her concern that there are seemingly infected animals less than half a day out of town.
Alaric immediately started an inspection of all people who live or work in the surrounding forest together with Ingrid to ensure the health of the town.
Upon discovering the dead body of Magnus Stonehammer , set up a perimeter and immediately started an investigation. He has questioned everyone about their whereabouts and asked Ingrid to inspect the body. Plus he ordered 2 guards to remain at Seeblick's inn to keep an eye out and requested we do the same.
When we returned with the Lichenposter and informed him about the Fungizard, he joined us in our search for Ingrid. He too finds her suspicious.
Being as confused as us he tried to help uncover what's going on. He's currently keeping the Ingrids in his sights and tries to determine a way to see if they are both fake.

Alaric has his hands in his hair right now. There has been a murder, there are Musk Lilys in town and the well is filled to the brim with their acrid marmelade. He is not used to leading (that's more the mayor's thing) but he's trying his best to fix this mess.
