After reconvening and putting our discoveries together, we decided to do a second investigation of the ships of the Merida crew. We uncovered they are in league with the smugglers and were investigating the acrid marmelade and musk lilies as well. Alaric immediately arrested the entire crew but sadly the captain got away...

After our discoveries we reconvened with Alaric and Ingrid to discuss the results and create new plans. We learned more about the Musk lilies namely that they are responsible for the Arcid marmelade!
The guards uncovered an immense cavern underneath the well potentially filled with the things given the amount of jelly clogging up the well.
Gunther, Alaric and Arti performed a second inspection of the ships and found the smuggler's alhemy lab. they too were investigating the marmelade and lilies! The captain of the vessel escaped while her crew got arrested.
