Heron
The Heron is a long-legged wading bird, known for its elegant stance and its patient hunting style. It frequents wetlands, marshes, and the edges of lakes and rivers, where it stalks its prey with deliberate steps. With a long, sharp beak, it spears fish, frogs, and other aquatic creatures with remarkable accuracy. Herons are often seen standing motionless for long periods, waiting for the perfect moment to strike.
