Deer Mouse
The Deer Mouse is a truly unique creature, a small rodent with a remarkable adaptation – a pair of delicate antlers adorning its head. These diminutive creatures possess a sleek, mouse-like body covered in soft fur, typically in shades of brown or gray. Their most striking feature, however, is the set of antlers, reminiscent of a miniature deer, sprouting from their foreheads. Despite their unusual appearance, Deer Mice retain many of the characteristics of their common mouse relatives. They are agile and quick, scurrying through undergrowth and navigating their surroundings with surprising dexterity. Like their ordinary counterparts, they scavenge for food, nesting in burrows and crevices, and often inhabiting areas near human settlements.
