Demographics
The well to do citizens and aristocracy are mostly Human, Halfling, and Elf. The citizens in service/enslaved positions are mostly Dwarf, gnome, Kobold, Orcs and other "Lesser" races.
Government
Aristocracy - Run by the Mastokov familiy at their seat of power in the Dormition Palace. They write the laws, uphold justice, and pay the city guard and other government officials.
Defences
They have a full detachment of city guard and a small standing army of veteran soldiers.
Infrastructure
They have working waterways, sewers, roads, bridges and steam powered automation. Thanks to the wealth accrued from silver mining, Volgot and particularly Darkolz, is one of the wealthier settlements in the country. As well as the world.
