Country of Volgot
Far to the east of the world lies a harsh, cold existence. The frostbitten country of Volgot.
Once ruled for centuries by the Powerful Mastokov family. Through strife and rebellion, it has since been split into three ruling factions. The Volim Clan, which served as stewards and bodyguards to the Mastokov Dynasty, seized power at an opportune time. They swore enmity to the Mastokov Dynasty and have been involved in a decades long power grab to seize control of the country.
Far to the north, the third great force in this country - The Tsao-Kun Tribes, live unaffiliated as nomadic farmers and huntsman. Their brutality matches the cold landscape they call home. The northern half of the country is covered by snow and ice most of the year and in the winter, Temperatures can reach deadly levels especially at higher elevations.
Structure
Aristocracy - The Mastokov Dynasty ruled the country now with the Volim Clan sharing in leadership over the land. There is no unification.
Culture
Volgos believe in hard work. Surviving the cold winters means banding together to stave off the elements and the ferocious beasts that dwell out there. This has bred an austere nihilism among the populace. They are slow to smile and laugh... Unless there is alcohol nearby.
Public Agenda
One of the ruling classes seeks to unite the country under its one leadership. Who will gain the upper hand remains to be seen.
The two parties vying for this title are the
The Mastokov Dynasty - The oldest human family in Volgot and proclaimed its sole heirs and inheritors.
Volim Clan - A group founded after they rebelled against the despotic rule of the Mastokovs.
Nomadic Clans to the north - Particularly the Tsao-Kun tribe, have not shown an interst in vying for control of the country. They do however make up a significant portion of the country's population and would make good allies to anyone looking to seize the upper hand in this power struggle. For the time being they are content living off the land, worshipping their own gods, and killing anyone who crosses into their borders with ill intent.
Assets
Silver - Each of the mountains in Volgot contain an abundance of silver. It is usually mined through slave labor which puts Volgot in a troublesome spot on the world's stage. It has however made the country extremely wealthy and independent and at the cutting edge of technological developments.
Military
Both the Volim Clans and Mastokov Dynasty employ standing armies numbering in the tens of thousands. Along with that, they hire out work to many mercenaries seeking coin.
The Tsao-Kun Tribe is more than capable of defending itself.

Airships are in heavy use here. As well as the latest weaponry such as firearms and cannons.
