Session 65: When Last We Met 1/14/24

General Summary

When last we left off, two of the party members arrive to the city with a force of 5,000 Tsao-Kun tribesmen ready to spill blood - discriminately. They manage to keep the peace and not harm any civilians that didn't try to harm them first. They march through the city and arrive outside the gates of the Dormition Palace where the rest of the party is waiting. They move through the gates and Isolde makes a show of force, her voice booming off the stone walls of the palace demanding Zhinovy and the Mastokovs Turn themselves in. 
Instead, a Knight by the name of Lady Alyosha essentially tells the party to get lost and no one will leave this palace while she draws breath. Tensi takes this as a "aight, Bet" kind of moment and she hurls the first salvo in this battle. The party deals some damage with the Sisters of Salvation finishing the job, leaving her a bloody mess on the steps of the palace. After collecting her armor and belongings, They make their way into the palace Where a lone guard stands fast against the locked door to the main chamber. With their collective intimidation at max level, They convince the guard to abandon his post and flee for his life. 
The party use their chime of opening on the locked chamber door and make their way in with Tensi disguised as a Cat. The party make quick work from there as Vandread misty steps to capture Grigoriy and hold him tight. This sets off the Guards both human and mechanical and a combat breaks out. In the chaos, Zhinovy tries to slip out the back door along with two of the mastokov women. The force of guards are no match for the Collective might of The Heroes of Maplevale and the Sisters of Salvation as they mop them up little by little leaving only the nobles to deal with. 
Celeste manages to wound and tackle Zhinovy out in the back courtyard and Tensi grabs Vandreads Construct horse and wranlges up the two women and they are collectively all brought back into the main chamber of the Palace. Mistral meanwhile turns into his gaseous form and floats up to the 2nd floor of the Palace for a fateful reunion soon to come.

Lady Alyosha - Personal Bodyguard to the Mastokov family. A resplendent knight in a more modernized metropolis. Quite an anachronistic sight. She died in combat, her oath is fulfilled and her watch has ended.
Lord Zhinovy - Leader of the Sisters of Salvation. Tried to run away and took an arrow to the ankle. He'll probably wish Celeste's arrow had killed him instead of what awaits. 
Grigoriy Mastokov - Patriarch of the Mastokov Dynasty. Captured and currently being led by Vandread to whatever fate awaits him outside the palace. 
Svetlana and Paolina Mastokov - Wife and daughter Respectively to Grigoriy. Captured by Tensi and led back into the palace....
Ongar Kol Ongar - War Chief of the Tsao Kun tribes. Awaits the men responsible for the attack on their village outside the Dormition Palace.
