The average Sniper RIfle has the following stats

A Poor Quality weapon will jam on a Critical Fumble on their Attack Checks
An Excellent Quality weapon will have a +1 to its Attack Checks
An Exotic weapon is considered to be Standard Quality, with 0 starting Attachment Slots, and is incompatible with Non-Basic Ammunition unless otherwise noted. A non exotic weapon that starts with preinstalled Attachments can have those Attachments removed to free up that slot, but that weapon can only be reattached to a weapon of the same weapon category. An exotic weapon cannot have its preinstalled attachments removed. Unless otherwise stated, they use the following Range Table
Arasaka WSAA Sniper System:
The WSS Rifles you find on the market today are rebuilds or copies of weapons left behind when Arasaka fled Night City. While the modern versions contain the superior quality of the original, you'll need to add the smartgun link and high-resolution scopes yourself.

Because these were originally developed by Aldecaldo weaponsmiths from samples they found while salvaging an abandoned firearms factory, each Nomad Long Rifle is unique, though all are reliable weapons.

Nomad Pneumatic Bolt Gun:
An air weapon conceived of by Nomads in the 2020s based on pre-collapse paintball technology. With four rotating barrels, it fires a much larger bolt than a typical crossbow which is capable of travelling over greater distances. Nowadays, the gun is used by Nomads for the same thing it was used for in 2020: harassing drivers and shooting tires. There has been one upgrade though, an air compressor has been built into the stock for easy reloading.

An Exotic Sniper Rifle. Despite being an Exotic Weapon, it can still fire Non-Basic Ammunition. When worn openly, the user gets a +2 to their Wardrobe and Style Skill Checks. This bonus only applies once and doesn't stack with other weapons that grant a bonus to Wardrobe and Style.

Installed in the sniper rifle is an Agent with a pseudo-AI girlfriend with a randomly generated personality. Through a bone-conduction speaker on the weapon's cheek rest, the pseudo-AI whispers messages of affirmation to its wielder and learns to recognize them even in pitch-black darkness by the contour of their face.

The Nekomata is a demanding weapon. It requires care, regular service, and time to learn how best to use it. But it's worth it. Really, really worth it. This electromag sniper rifle is a technological marvel. It's almost impossible for mercenaries outside the employ of a government or major megacorp to get their hands on one... Almost.

This was Molly's and apparently it got jealous of her spending time with Ricky instead of taking it target shooting, so we're trying to sell it. It's a collector's piece you don't see too often, so, umm, buy now? -UnknownAn Exotic Sniper Rifle with a built in agent, with a flip-out screen, a built in Sniper Scope, and Infrared Nightvision Scope. The Agent cannot be removed from the weapon without both it and the weapon being destroyed beyond repair. Despite being an Exotic Weapon, it can still load Non-Basic Ammunition Once it gets to know a user via working with them to score 10 kills with this rifle, the pseudo-AI bonds to them, dynamically resdjusting to their shooting patterns and causing the weapon to act as if it were Excellent Quality instead when using it. Once bonded, the AI will consider it and the user to be in a serious, committed relationship. Past this point, if the user does something to upset the pseudo-AI girlfriend, such as damaging it, not firing it enough, failing to clean it, loading it with Junk Ammunition, or firing other Sniper Rifles, it may turn off this dynamic adjustment in protest, until the user makes amends.
