Grenade Launchers
Grenade Launchers
The average Grenade Launcher has the following stats
Weapon Skill: Heavy Weapons
Single Shot Damage: 6d6
Standard Magazine: 2 (Grenade)
Rate of Fire: 1
Hands Required: 2
Attachment Slots: 3
Concealable: No
A Poor Quality weapon will jam on a Critical Fumble on their Attack Checks
An Excellent Quality weapon will have a +1 to its Attack Checks
An Exotic weapon is considered to be Standard Quality, with 0 starting Attachment Slots, and is incompatible with Non-Basic Ammunition unless otherwise noted. A non exotic weapon that starts with preinstalled Attachments can have those Attachments removed to free up that slot, but that weapon can only be reattached to a weapon of the same weapon category. An exotic weapon cannot have its preinstalled attachments removed. Unless otherwise stated, they use the following Range Table
When you fire a Grenade Launcher, you roll against the DV of your INTENDED target. On a hit, the grenade goes directly where you fired it, and explodes in a 5m radius. On a miss, the grenade will hit a different point within that area, selected by the GM, and then explode.
Flare Gun:
Everybody needs a flare gun. Even if it's just for celebrating your choomba's quinceanera, one of these will really light up their special night.
A One-Handed Exotic Grenade Launcher with a one shot capacity. Too bulky to be installed in Pop-up cyberware. In addition to all grenade Ammunition, the Flare Gun can fire Flare ammunition (purchased at 10 eb a shot) using the normal grenade launcher range table. These flares do not explode, nor cause damage, but can be seen for up to 3 miles away while in the air. Once they land, they act as a normal road flare.
Militech "Cowboy" U-56 Grenade Launcher:
A heavy grenade launcher with 4 rotating barrels, and a raised firing rate. Firing it should not be attempted if you do not have the appropriate strength-enhancing cyberware.
An Exotic ROF 2 Borg Grenade Launcher. Its magazine holds four grenades. Despite being an Exotic Weapon, it is capable of firing all forms of Grenade Ammunition. Reloading this weapon requires two Actions, and thus can only be done over the course of two turns. Firing this weapon without suffering the Broken Arms critical injury requires BODY 11 or higher unless it is mounted.
GunMart Porta-Morta:
When the Porta-Morta failed to attract attention from Corporate and national military forces, GunMart released this monster of engineering onto the market for "home explosion enthusiasts to enjoy."
A Poor Quality Grenade Launcher, preinstalled with a Drum Magazine.
Militech Mini-Grenade:
By the end of the 4th Corporate War, the Mini-G became the standard for Militech troops, which means gangers and scavs plucked hundreds of them from the corpses of troopers who died during urban fighting operations.
A Standard Quality Grenade Launcher.
Pursuit Security Inc. TearJerker:
Making a clean getaway is a big part of keeping yourself alive. This isn't just a grenade launcher, it's an insurance policy. Sometimes it's health insurance, sometimes it's car insurance. Either way, it's cheaper than the alternative.
An Excellent Quality Grenade Launcher with a 3-shot capacity Despite being an Exotic Weapon, it is only capable of firing Smoke or Teargas Ammunition. It is incompatible with all magazine attachments.
Sternmeyer M-04 Variable Assault:
The M-04 Variable Assault by Sternmeyer is a compact multipurpose assault weapon designed for getting the job done quickly. To solve an issue with a previous ultralight prototype, Sternmeyer fit it with an integrated grenade launcher as a counterweight to balance the featherweight bullpup design. The result was a match made in gunsmith heaven, with the grenades loaded via a clip that slides underneath the launcher and the ammunition cartridge loaded into the stock. The M-04 really doesn't need anything else. It's balanced, weighs only 10 poinds, and wrecks just about anything it shoots at. It does have some issues with a "sticky" dual-function trigger, but more than makes up for it in utility.
This is a Poor Quality Exotic Combination Grenade Launcher and Assault Rifle. Both modes of the weapon fire from separate magazines, the Grenade launcher magazine holding 2 grenades, and the Assault Rifle magazine holding 20 bullets. Each magazine must be loaded independantly using a separate Action.
When one mode of the weapon jams, neither mode can be used until an Action is taken to reverse the malfunction. Despite being an Exotic Weapon, the Grenade Launcher can still fire Non-Basic grenades.
Towa Manufacturing Type-G:
The only way to get a more basic grenade launcher is to build it yourself out of plumbing supplies.
A Poor Quality Grenade Launcher.
Towa Manufacturing Type-G*2:
The Type-G*2 is the cornerstone of Towa's experimental explosives division's new concept of urban warfare. When collateral damage is no longer a consideration, drowning your enemy in mass-produced grenades is a foregone conclusion.
A Standard Quality Grenade Launcher that can load two different types of ammunition. When firing the Type-G*2, the user chooses which ammunition to use. Incompatible with all magazine attachments.
Tsunami Arms Type-18:
Originally developed for the Japanese SDF, the Tsunami Arms Type-18 uses gyro-stabilization and recoil compensation to deliver a superior launch vector.
An Excellent Quality Grenade Launcher.
Tsunami Arms Type-18-S:
An upgraded version of the Type-18, Tsunami Arms improved the model by adding computer-assisted targeting links.
An Excellent Quality Grenade Launcher, preinstalled with a Smartgun Link.
